Junior rugby applies the RFU Continuum adapting the laws of the senior game. This is designed to allow boys and girls to progressively learn rugby skills and have fun at the same time. | |||

| Team managers and coaches are required in order for the club to develop. Yarm Rugby will pay for volunteers to attend Mini and Tag Rugby coaching courses. | The simplest form of the game which aids player enjoyment: Touch tackling, No scrums or lineouts. Closer to the adult game but played on a smaller pitch. A team of twelve players consists of five forwards and seven backs. Lineouts involve four players with no lifting or supporting allowed. Scrums involve five players from each team. |
